COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES:
Mr. and Mrs. Wahlberg have been long-time supporters and contributors to the Rocky Mountain Adoption Exchange and the Wednesday's Child program. Mr. Wahlberg has provided pro bono legal services regarding adoption issues for over 20 years.
Neil Hillyard, Stephen Wahlberg and David Woodruff have all been elected to the Board of Directors of the Colorado Trial Lawyer's Association. The Colorado Trial Lawyer's Association provides advocacy for those injured as a result of the negligence or intentional conduct of others.
Stephen Wahlberg was elected by his peers to be the President of the American Board of Trial Advocates, the premier civil trial lawyer's organization in the United States.
Mr. Wahlberg is a contributor and advisor to the Bloom Again Foundation which was formed by Molly Bloom's family. The Bloom Again Foundation provides support to disabled athletes.
Mr. Wahlberg is a frequent speaker at local schools, including Cherry Creek High School, West Middle School, Denver East High School, Heritage Elementary School, The University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, and the University of Colorado.
Mr. Wahlberg is a guest lecturer at the University of Denver law school and recently spoke on "How to be a Trial Lawyer."
Mr. and Mrs. Wahlberg are supporters and contributors to the Ovarian Cancer Alliance.
Mr. Wahlberg is a former coach of youth T-Ball and youth soccer but has retired from those positions to serve as the leader of a fine wine club.
In January, Dan Sloane was a guest on the Tom Martino radio show to discuss changes in the U/M law.
